About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Communications Manager to shape and enhance Mattel's reputation in the Asia Pacific market.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive corporate communications strategy, partner with regional leaders, and execute consumer PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
* Developing and executing external communications strategies to increase visibility and reputation across key stakeholders.
* Partnering with regional leaders to develop and implement campaigns supporting their roles as key spokespersons for Mattel in APAC.
* Working closely with U.S. and international teams to execute consumer PR campaigns increasing brand awareness and relevance in the region.
* Leading crisis communication plans in close collaboration with U.S.-based corporate communications leadership.
* Collaborating with HR and employee communications teams to create internal communication initiatives aligning with Mattel's reputation and strategic messaging.
* Managing Mattel's LinkedIn presence for the APAC region, developing content enhancing corporate communications goals and senior leadership visibility.
* Amplifying Mattel's corporate responsibility and community engagement initiatives in the region.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Minimum 7-8 years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on PR in APAC, preferably in agency management.
* Strong writing and storytelling capabilities with proven expertise in developing impactful media content.
* Extensive media relationships and deep understanding of both traditional and non-traditional media in APAC.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Proven leadership qualities of collaboration, innovation, and execution.
