Anopportunity is available for an experienced Supervisor to support the delivery of building maintenance and minorconstruction works in Mt Isa. This role will suit a proactive supervisor withstrong coordination, estimating, and compliance experience who is confidentworking across office, site, and stakeholder environments.
KeyResponsibilities:
* Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and supporting documentation for maintenance and building works.
* Coordinate and oversee day‐to‐day maintenance and construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
* Provide supervision and guidance to internal staff, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality outcomes.
* Conduct site inspections and condition assessments of buildings and assets, including documenting findings and recommending maintenance actions.
* Manage tenancy‐related inspections and maintenance referrals in line with relevant standards and requirements.
* Ensure all work activities comply with workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and legislative obligations.
* Monitor work performance and support the professional development and conduct of staff and contractors.
* Liaise with stakeholders to support service delivery and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within building, construction, or maintenance environments
* Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and project coordination
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
* High level of attention to safety, compliance, and quality standards
* Clean, open driver's licence (mandatory)
