The Key Responsibilities For The Role

* Support the delivery of core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, variations, and employment letters.
* Maintain employee records and data within the HRIS and ensure compliance with audit and legislative requirements.
* Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and escalate as needed.
* Coordinate pre-employment checks, reference checks, and onboarding logistics.
* Support reporting and analytics for people metrics (e.g. headcount, turnover).
* Assist with recruitment administration (posting ads, interview scheduling, etc.).
* Maintain P&C documentation including policies, procedures, templates and intranet content.
* Assist in organising and delivering engagement initiatives, training sessions, and team events.
* Support the P&C team with various ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

* A practical and pragmatic approach with the ability to understand from a business perspective what the customer needs and translate that into performance demands for the various parts of the organisation
* Tech-savvy, with high learning agility
* Well-developed interpersonal skills, committed to candidate and client care
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Eager to learn, develop and be open to change
* Resilience to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment, with the ability to learn to navigate ambiguous and uncertain situations
* Excellent interpersonal skills; including written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels
* Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well within a team and engage with all stakeholders
* Strong customer focus with the ability and inclination to solve problems
* Intermediate excel skills with the ability to combine and analyse data sets
* Strong understanding of contemporary approaches to talent sourcing and talent management; including the best ways to leverage technology to source and engage key talent.
* Knowledge of the employee lifecycle and general HR processes, policies, and procedures
* Contemporary interviewing and assessment techniques in talent acquisition
* Australian HR qualification would be advantageous
* Exposure to the employee lifecycle
* Using HR systems such as an ATS or HRIS
* 2-3 years in a Coordinator/Operations role
