Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive and customer centric technician to join our South Australia team as a Service Technician based in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of equipment or systems, minimising downtime, and maximising customer satisfaction through prompt and effective service delivery.
The Role
* Developing Customer Solutions
o Develop a robust understanding of our Platform solutions and services to effectively identify and communicate opportunities to enhance or resolve customer needs.
* Equipment Installation and Maintenance
o Install, configure and maintain communication equipment and systems within customer environments.
* Troubleshooting and Technical Support
o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain continuity in communication services.
* Predictive Maintenance
o Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and performance of communication infrastructure and provide timely reports highlighting risk and applicable recommendations.
Requirements
* A valid driver's license to drive within South Australia in a company provided vehicle.
* A cabling license (e.g. Structured, Coax, Fibre, Testing (Metallic), and Testing (Fibre)).
* A willingness to participate in an estimated fortnightly on-call roster cycle, providing for additional allowances + overtime.
* A demonstrated focus on customer centricity; understanding customer needs and concerns is essential to building relationships and demonstrating value.
* A strong understanding of IP networking concepts, protocols and hardware technologies.
* A proven ability with problem-solving and attention to detail combined with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
