Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our established safety team working on site. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Implementing Occupational Health and Safety strategies, systems, and initiatives
* Ensuring the project is compliant with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and Australian standards
* Developing and maintaining a base SWMS register and supporting project staff in reviewing and updating project SWMS
* Preparing and distributing approved 'health and safety reports'
* Coordinating and maintaining inspection registers, audits schedules, and compliance registers
* Participating in site inspections, audits, and Safety Management System reviews
Required Skills And Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Experience in disciplines such as rail and associated infrastructure
* Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
* Incident Investigation (ICAM/Root Cause or equivalent)
