About the role
The Senior Practitioner, with the Service Manager, will support in the escalation of care pathway to ensure efficient, effective, safe and high-quality client management and clinical service delivery.
This position is available part-time (22.5 hours per week) to 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension based on ongoing government funding.

Duties
* Provide a key point of contact for clinical escalation to the multidisciplinary headspace Kiama team
* Support the clinical and psychosocial operations within headspace Kiama
* Maintain a caseload and deliver high quality psychological interventions
Skills & Experience
* Post graduate experience in mental health service delivery and;
Full AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist, Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist (eligible for mental health accreditation with OTA), Mental Health Nurses,
OR Social Workers eligible (or willing to work towards) mental health endorsement with AASW,
OR Counsellors with current clinical registration with PACFA or current Level 3 or 4 membership with ACA
* Experience in assessment of mental health disorders, and provision of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy and other evidence-based focused psychological strategies.
* Experience working with young people and their families or carers in a family inclusive practice model.
* Demonstrated understanding of key issues in relation to the health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems
About headspace Kiama
headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Kiama work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people.
Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Kiama. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.
