Where you'll be working:

This role is based at Muswellbrook, with services delivered across the Upper Hunter and Singleton regions. You'll be part of a highly supportive Allied Health Department, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team that values shared learning, open communication, and quality care for children and families. About the role:

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide outpatient services to children aged 0–18 years experiencing mild learning difficulties and delays in achieving developmental milestones. Your typical day will involve completing standardised and observational assessments, developing and delivering individualised therapy interventions, and supporting children to reach their functional goals.

A key part of the role includes working closely with families and carers, as well as liaising with schools, pre-schools, and other health and community service providers to ensure coordinated, holistic care. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same and where your clinical expertise will make a genuine difference.

About you:

We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about paediatric practice.

You'll be well supported from day one, with a comprehensive orientation program and regular supervision from senior Occupational Therapy staff. Peer supervision is available within the department, and ongoing continuing professional development (CPD) is strongly encouraged. The service is committed to supporting your professional growth through access to training and learning opportunities relevant to your role and interests.

Requirements:

* Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy with current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
