What Your Day Might Include
* Working in our modern Gnangara workshop on joinery, cabinet, and timber trade tasks, plus general maintenance (Altendorf panel saw, Holzher edgebander, modern equipment).
* On‑site maintenance and repairs across a range of commercial and government sites, including carpentry, painting, touch‑ups, and minor installations.
* Conducting work that requires moderate physical capability, including regular lifting and standing throughout the day.
* Scoping and reporting jobs for specialist trades when needed.
* Managing tasks and schedules via our smartphone app (training provided).
* Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot and solve practical problems on‑site and in the workshop.
What We're Looking For
* Hands‑on experience in areas such as basic cabinetmaking, carpentry, building maintenance, or any practical trade.
* A minimum of 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in any relevant trade or maintenance skill.
* Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Problem‑solving mindset and pride in delivering high‑quality work.
* Willingness to learn new skills and use technology for job tracking and communication.
* Good communication skills and a practical approach to completing tasks efficiently.
Bonus skills:
* Experience with general maintenance, problem‑solving, or minor installations.
* Previous use of job management apps or cloud‑based systems (training provided).
What You'll Need
* Valid driver's licence (essential).
* White Card, Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
* Hands‑on experience in basic timber work, building maintenance, or any practical trade.
* Confidence with technology, or willingness to learn job tracking via our smartphone app.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
* Valid Australian work rights are required for this position.
Desirable but not essential:
* Previous experience in general maintenance, minor installations, carpentry or joinery.
