About the Service
This exciting new position is for a Physiotherapist experienced in Women's health and babies up to 12 months old. Based in Yass. The successful applicant will work closely with the midwifery group practice team to optimise care for the local community. Join our team and make a real difference in rural health.

What you'll be doing

Support for the Yass maternity services for women in the antenatal period and babies up to 12 months to support wellbeing and development.

Selection Criteria

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). To be appointed as a Level 3 Health Professional evidence must be provided of three years' clinical experience and demonstrated experience of relevant specialist knowledge or a high level of broad generalist knowledge within the discipline as defined by the award definitions of a level 3 practitioner.
* Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Clinical proficiency and ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload across a regional area.
* Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence based practice.
* Demonstrated ability to lead planning and evaluation of team activities.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise professional, technical and support staff.
* Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
