About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Pump Fitter to support water management activities in underground mines.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
* Install, maintain, and operate underground dewatering systems, including pumps, Mono pumps, sumps, pipelines, and wells.
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to optimize equipment reliability and ensure efficient operations.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimize downtime and maintain safe working conditions.
* Monitor system performance and adjust flow or equipment as needed to ensure effective water control.
* Document accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections, and system conditions.
Requirements for the Role
* Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Fitter / Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Fitter).
* 1-2 years of experience in dewatering, water management, or related fields, including poly welding, AIC technician work, pump fitting, or pipeline installation.
