Senior Embedded Software Developer - Linux Overview A leader in mission-critical wireless communication solutions, our client designs and manufactures innovative products used globally. 
Responsibilities Lead the development of critical software for the next generation of communication devices. 
Developing and testing radio, IoT, and accessory software, ensuring all requirements and timeframes are met. 
Providing technical assistance to internal teams to resolve software-related issues. 
Contributing to the planning and coordination of development projects, providing input on strategy and timelines. 
Maintaining a clear understanding of the software application suite and platforms, while continuously improving your skills. 
Qualifications A self-motivated and experienced embedded software developer. 
An excellent communicator and problem-solver with strong teamwork skills. 
Knowledge of networking protocols as used in router applications (e.g. tun/tap interfaces, DSCP, iptables, routing, DNS & DHCP interception). 
You have a Degree, extensive C/C++ and Python programming skills, at least 5 years' experience with microcontrollers and RTOS, and extensive knowledge of embedded Linux, especially with Yocto and Debian frameworks.
