Personal Care Worker Opportunity
This role is a chance to make a positive impact in people's lives by providing exceptional care and support to clients in their own homes. The right candidate will be passionate, client-focused and have strong expertise in mental health care.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting neurodivergent clients, a Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent) and the ability to work collaboratively with the client's care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities, following the Client Care Plan.
• Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
• Identify client care needs and communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
• Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate daily client notes and promptly report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager.
• Support clients with mobility aids, range-of-motion exercises, and non-sterile dressings, under the supervision of an RN.

Requirements:
• Current Senior First Aid [HLTAID011], CPR [HLTAID009] and Manual Handling [HLTWHS005].
• A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.
• NDIS Screening (or willingness to get).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
• Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
