Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned underground mining professional to lead our technical team. As a Senior Mining Engineer, you will be responsible for managing engineering requirements, mentoring junior staff, and driving improvement projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in underground hard-rock mining, proficiency in Deswik CAD and Scheduler packages, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of Mining Engineers
* Develop functional work plans and processes for the Mining Department
* Review and approve production drilling and charging plans
* Initiate and implement improvement projects
* Coordinate stope reconciliation processes
Requirements
* 5+ years of UG hard-rock mining experience
* Deswik CAD and Scheduler expertise
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Experience working with a mining contractor
* Underground Mine Rescue certification
