Delaware North Australia is seeking a full-time Assistant Cafe Manager to join our vibrant Rustica & Little Italy venues at Melbourne Airport. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll support the Restaurant Manager in driving daily operations, leading a high-energy team, and elevating service standards. Your contribution will help shape the venue's success and position it as a standout destination for travellers and food lovers alike.

What will you do?
* Assist in managing day-to-day café and restaurant operations with a focus on efficiency and guest satisfaction
* Champion exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
* Drive financial performance through budget management, stock control and labour oversight
* Ensure compliance with OH&S and food safety standards
* Lead, train and motivate a diverse team to consistently exceed expectations
* Promote and celebrate our food and beverage offering, ensuring staff are knowledgeable and guests are engaged
More about you
* Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy cafe or restaurant setting
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
* Energetic, guest-focused and self-motivated with strong leadership skills
* Skilled in team development, recruitment and performance coaching
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
