Key Roles in Marketing Strategy
The marketing officer will play a crucial role in creating and disseminating marketing materials to both internal and external stakeholders.
This involves:
* Developing communication materials, such as articles for internal newsletters, press releases, and business-focused social media posts.
* Managing the internal calendar of key events, focusing on site-based events, including communicating with stakeholders, briefing design of respective collateral, distribution of materials, and post-event communications.
* Supporting site teams with local area marketing and community engagement recommendations.
* Leading market strategy meetings with sales and marketing teams, providing advice and guidance on recommended marketing activities encompassing B2B and B2C activities, and working directly with customers where required.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in business or agriculture with a marketing or communications major, previous experience in a marketing and/or communications environment, experience working in a B2B environment, knowledge of agricultural systems, and exporting/importing of commodities advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential, along with a natural inclination to provide strong customer service.
