About this opportunity
We are rapidly growing in this industry, as part of this growth we have an opportunity for a Logistics and Asset Officer. This role requires the coordination of movement, control and maintenance of vehicles, drills and product in an effective and timely manner. This is a full-time role based in our Stapylton Office however travel may be required based on project needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- liaison with operations to ensure appropriate project controls systems are established
- resolving potential scheduling & planning issues or referring them to the Regional Manager
- Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
- Coordinate repair requests detailed through system MEX
- Keep a log of company vehicles and machinery
- Provide relevant forecast and reports to management
- Oversight of major project procurement and logistics
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a project management role
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Knowledge of dangerous goods requirements
- Ability to travel
