At Rohde & Schwarz we are very proud to be helping to shape the future of communications, information and security. This role supports the Sales and Admin functions across Brisbane and Sydney, as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

- The Sales Support Team is a central function that ensures efficiency in the way we carry out admin tasks and works with the sales teams to generate orders. You will be part of a team with colleagues in Brisbane and Sydney; prioritize multiple tasks and identify process improvements.
- Familiarize yourself with Company standard procedures and put them into practice.
- Maintain sound working relationships with internal customers across other departments.
- Provide coverage for team members during absences and support ad hoc admin duties as required.
- Prepare and send quotations & tenders to clients; manage phone interactions with courtesy and professionalism.
- Organise seminars, events/tradeshows, event invoicing and pricing; arrange domestic & international travel and accommodation.
- Assist with preparations for tradeshows and events; typing and mailing correspondence, datasheets and mail-outs.
- Maintain and order office, kitchen and event supplies; photocopy, scan documents and use/maintain databases.
- Generate reports for sales teams; support Talent Acquisition with arranging interviews; assist Exec team with travel-related expenses and security requirements.
- General office administration and catering coordination for onsite and off-site activities; support marketing with merchandise orders as needed.
- Assist MD’s EA when required and support Sales with processing quotations, purchase orders, leads and opportunities using in-house software (C4C / SAP).
- Assist in creating recent product materials (PAMS) and contribute to project work as required.

Qualifications

- Computer platform expertise: MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and familiarity with Internet Explorer; InDesign/Photoshop are advantageous.
- C4C SAP experience.
- Strong administration background.

Requirements & Compliance

- Security clearance: Some positions may require NV1 security clearance; Australian Citizenship and/or Permanent Residency may be required. A comprehensive security and background check is part of the vetting process.
- The role may require access to ITAR controlled material; ensure you meet the US State Department requirements to access ITAR material before applying.
