Our client is a leading company with the Renewables Industry. Who have multiple opportunities for experience Site Managers to support a major infrastructure project based in Melbourne. This role will be responsible for managing & leading the delivery of site-based construction projects and ensuring all key deliverables & targets are meet. The successful candidate will have an electrical background with prior experience working on High-Voltage transmission projects. This position requires strong stakeholder management skill, and highly effective communication. Key Responsibilities: Management of multidisciplinary teams, of employees and contractors and providing effective site leadership that ensures agreed milestones are met. Plan and coordinate construction activities, identifying risks & opportunities, organising equipment services & materials required to complete works. Ensuring a safe working environment, working closely with site base HSE personal to ensure health & safety policies, procedures are cleary communicated and followed site wide. Ensuring contractor activities comply with scope, quality, and contractual obligations. Producing estimates of labour, plant and resourcing requirements for construction activities. Key capability requirements: Current trade or tertiary qualification in electrical, building or construction management (Required) Proven experience on Transmission substation construction sites. VESI training and experience would be highly regarded. Knowledge and experience in the concepts and principles of subcontractor management. Longstanding commitment to ensuring safety standards and procedures are communicated and followed throughout the project lifecycle projects. Well-developed communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) Ability to develop and maintain a safe workplace and environment for employees, contractors and visitors; Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal customers and external suppliers/subcontractors.
