* Full-time – 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

* Location: 700 Bourke Street, Docklands — 12 weeks full-time in office, then hybrid (3 office / 2 home)
* $45.00 Per Hour + Super

Your new role
As a Lending Operations Specialist, you'll be placed in one of five key teams supporting the home loan lifecycle: Settlements, SIO (Security in Order), Drawdowns, Construction, or First Home Owner Grant (FHOG). You'll work closely with brokers, bankers, solicitors, and customers to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely processing of mortgage-related transactions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Depending on your team placement, you may be involved in:
* Managing settlements via PEXA and liaising with solicitors and brokers
* Verifying mortgage documents and ensuring compliance with lending policies
* Processing loan drawdowns and disbursing funds
* Coordinating progress payments for home construction projects
* Reviewing and submitting First Home Owner Grant applications
* Handling time-critical tasks and maintaining high attention to detail
* Communicating clearly via phone and email with internal and external stakeholders
* Navigating systems and managing multiple cases simultaneously
What you'll need to succeed
* Must be eligible to work full-time in Australia
* Looking for banking or finance operational experience
* Must have exposure to lending, loans, settlements or document preparation
* Candidates from branches, mortgage broking, or loan processing are highly encouraged to apply
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
* High attention to detail and document accuracy
* Resilience, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership
* Comfortable speaking with brokers, solicitors, builders, and customers
* Tertiary education in Business, Finance, or related fields is desirable
