Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Networks Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking and firewalling, with experience in datacentres, LANs, and WANs. You will be responsible for monitoring network availability and performance, focusing on outage detection, analysis, resolution, and reporting. Additionally, you will provide technical support to clients, conduct testing, implementation, monitoring, and tuning of networking software/hardware to ensure optimum system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 2+ years working in a professional services environment
* Developing knowledge of networking and firewalling covering datacentres, LANs, and WANs
* Understand the concepts of networking and the security associated with networking
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
