Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Consultant to support our business growth by providing exceptional quoting experiences for our partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to technical enquiries, generating accurate quotes, and supporting the sales process with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be the first point of contact via phone and email for all customer technical enquiries.
* Serve as a technical resource for Tier and Tier 1 resellers by designing solutions that meet their needs.
* Generate and provide customer quotations within agreed service level agreements with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
* Maintain exceptional customer service, consistently striving to exceed customer expectations.
* Educate clients on the best available solutions, tools, or collateral.
* Escalate customer or vendor concerns promptly.
* Identify up-sell opportunities through customer quotations.
* Proactively follow up on customer enquiries.
* Participate in technical training on products across our vendor portfolio and achieve set certification requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* You must be hardworking, self-motivated, and eager to progress into a Pre-Sales Engineer position.
* You should have technical knowledge of data communications and networking, preferably with a Diploma Degree.
* You must understand margin and uplift calculations and apply them accordingly.
* You should possess a sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative.
* You should have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships quickly and effectively both over the phone and face-to-face.
* You should have excellent administrative skills, including attention to detail, proactive follow-up, and efficient time management.
* SAP user skills would be a significant advantage.
* You should be proficient in Office programs such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.
