Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our organization on a 6-month contract. The role has the potential to be extended or become permanent, and you will have the opportunity to work with a successful company.
The key duties of the Financial Controller will include:
* Completing daily payment allocations and identifying reasons for short/missed payments with a view to resolving them.
* Processing new account applications including required credit checks and credit risk assessments.
* Regularly reviewing held orders with a view of releasing within agreed time frames.
* Accurately maintaining customer accounts, including credit limits, changes to customer details, payment arrangements and other relevant information.
* Monthly review of aged debtors list.
* Performing additional duties from time to time as directed by the Manager.
* Holding a good understanding of credit control processes.
* Having experience in cash management & reconciliations.
* Being confident with Excel and SAP would be advantageous.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
