About the Role
 * You will be responsible for overseeing preventative and corrective maintenance activities across multiple industrial sites.
 * Your key responsibility will be to supervise a team of tradespeople and contractors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead maintenance activities during shifts and develop work schedules for all site facilities.
 * Supervise a team of mechanical tradespeople and coordinate contractor activity to ensure efficient operations.
 * Manage the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the sites, ensuring accurate records and effective resource allocation.
 * Ensure maintenance tasks adhere to statutory requirements, operational standards, and safety protocols.
 * Oversee permit-to-work systems and risk assessments for maintenance and upgrade activities.
 * Respond to critical breakdowns and after-hours callouts to minimize downtime and maintain operational effectiveness.
 * Identify opportunities for defect elimination and continuous improvement in plant reliability.
 * Manage maintenance documentation, critical spares inventory, and procurement planning to support terminal operations.
 * Support terminal upgrades, scheduled shutdowns, and minor construction projects.
 * Participate in quality management reviews, safety discussions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to maintain a culture of excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
 * Certificate III trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial disciplines.
 * Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in terminal or facility settings.
 * Demonstrated ability to perform risk assessments and manage safety protocols.
 * Strong communication, team leadership, and mentoring skills.
 * Proficiency with maintenance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
 * Familiarity with PLC/distributed control systems and permit-to-work procedures.
 * High-risk work licence and valid driver's licence.
 * On-call availability for rostered maintenance coverage.
