Modern buildings produce vast streams of data—yet much of it remains unused. This organisation transforms that untapped information into actionable insights, allowing clients to identify faulty equipment, inefficient systems, and sustainability improvement opportunities at scale.
They are now seeking a Performance Specialist to join their high‐impact team and work directly with blue‐chip REIT customers to optimise the performance of large, complex property portfolios.
The Role
As a Performance Specialist, you will be the key driver of building optimisation outcomes for major real estate clients. Leveraging a leading analytics platform and your expertise in building operations, energy performance, and optimisation, you will help clients enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve sustainability ratings across their assets.
This is a client‐facing, outcomes‐focused role ideal for someone who understands how buildings should operate—and how data can elevate performance to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner closely with blue‐chip REIT customers to understand operational objectives and portfolio‐specific challenges.
* Assess building and portfolio performance to identify opportunities for optimisation and improved efficiency.
* Develop tailored building performance strategies that elevate sustainability, reduce operating costs, and deliver measurable energy outcomes.
* Advise clients on operational improvements, optimisation pathways, and data‐driven solutions.
* Monitor KPIs and track progress of optimisation initiatives using real‐time analytics insights.
* Deliver clear, meaningful reporting and drive discussions around outcomes achieved.
* Collaborate internally with engineers, data analysts, deployment teams, operational support, and sustainability specialists to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Remain informed on emerging trends in energy management, FDD (Fault Detection & Diagnostics), and building performance analytics.
Beneficial Experience
* Experience in sustainability within the commercial real estate sector.
* Exposure to building analytics platforms, digital twins, or performance‐based data models.
* Understanding of ESG frameworks such as NABERS, GRESB, or wider sustainability rating tools.
