Our company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team at a dedicated Finished Vehicle Logistics facility.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing operational activities, processes, and systems within a transport industry setting. This includes coaching and developing the team to ensure high levels of safety, compliance, accuracy, productivity, performance, and continuous improvement.

* Manage operational activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service standards
* Coach and develop the team for improved performance and growth
* Review regular performance reports to improve cost efficiency, vehicle utilization, and empty running
* Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance, including proactive management and reporting
* Ensure timely completion of transit damage non-conformance reporting and drive root cause analysis
* Liaise with customers to meet their service expectations through continuous feedback mechanisms
* Support risk management, quality, and SCA activities to achieve legislative and/or organizational standards
Key Requirements:
Experience in supervising operations within the transport industry, together with:
* Applied understanding of Chain of Responsibility, planning, and allocation/managing workflows
* Knowledge of metro and regional areas within Australia and major road networks (desirable)
* Ability to coach, develop, and engage an operational team
* Good communication, customer service, and influencing/negotiation skills
* Sound problem-solving capability, commercial acumen, and numeracy skills
* Basic-intermediate experience in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems and software
* Valid Australian manual driver's license
