About your new role

Joining our IT team as a support officer you will be providing professional and effective technical support services to all departments across the business, employees will be using various networks and computer systems both onsite and remotely. Working in a team of 4 and reporting to the Technology Security & Solutions Manager your day will consist of though not limited to the following:

* Deliver helpdesk support to onsite and remote users
* Tracking, troubleshooting and resolving all end-user IT and equipment related issues
* Independently resolve complex, break/fix issues in person or via telephone
* Investigate and resolve technical issues, including installation, maintenance, upgrades, and configuration of hardware, software, and network systems
* Develop good relationships to best understand and support the technical needs of staff within the organization
* Conduct quality audits, inspecting systems, data, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards
* Test and diagnose system errors, ensuring functionality aligns with defined protocols and quality standards


About You

* Strong customer service focus and communication skills
* Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
* Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and cloud-based hosting environments
* Knowledge of Remote Desktop Protocol and Remote support using Team Viewer
* Knowledge of IP Phones
* Knowledge of Teams Room setup
* Hands on experience with Windows PCs and centralized printers
* Understand basic network troubleshooting techniques
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills
* Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards, Essential Eight Security Standard
