We are seeking a skilled Communications Therapist to provide support to clients with communication disorders.
About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity for a qualified Speech Pathologist to work with adults and children who have a range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide therapeutic interventions to support clients with speech, language, and augmentative and alternative communication needs
* Develop strategies to improve social skills and awareness of body language, facial expressions, and voice tone
* Work with clients who have stutters and provide exercises and support to optimize voice quality and develop healthy vocal habits
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Speech Pathology or related field
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experience working with adults and children with communication disorders
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
