Lead Special Education Services Coordinator
This is a full-time temporary opportunity to join our team as the Head of Special Education Services (HOSES) based at Townview State School with support to Boulia, Dajarra, and Urandangi State Schools.
The role involves managing and coordinating high-quality advice and support from the Special Education and Early Childhood Development Programs for these schools. You will lead and manage these programs, providing advice to classroom teachers for students with disabilities as needed.
You will also be responsible for offering high-quality advice to school leadership and staff to plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities. Additionally, you will coordinate and provide targeted teaching for students needing intervention, and provide case management for students requiring significant adjustments.
This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with school staff and external partners. If you have experience in special education and are passionate about promoting inclusive practices, we encourage you to apply.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in special education, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with school staff and external partners. You will also need to have a current Blue Card Exemption card.
