Just Automotive Recruitment is assisting in the search for skilled **Fitter Generals** to join the team. You are expected to maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
- **1 fulltime position available**:
- **$65,000-$90,000 PA depending on experience**:
- **Location: VIC**
**Critical Responsibilities**:
- Workshop repairs and maintenance
- New machine pre delivery preparation and inspection
- Customer satisfaction
- Safety / Quality
- Cross functional support
**Main Responsibilities**:
Fault finding, repairs and services including but not limited to:
- Diesel and petrol engines
- Diesel, petrol and LPG fuel systems
- Steering systems
- Transmissions - hydrostatic, powershift and manual
- Brake systems
- Hydraulic valves and cylinders
- Electrical starting, charging and accessories
- Service and diagnostic repairs
- Liaise with spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs
- To complete repair and services within reasonable time frames
- To process workshop service/repair documentation on a daily basis
- Work in a safe manner, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and comply with requirements of the current Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H;) legislation
- Other duties as directed
