Full Time | Monday to Friday | Camp Accommodation Available

The Role

We are currently seeking a highly organised Storesperson / Procurement Officer to support our maintenance and operational teams at Coolibah Quarry in Moranbah.

This role is responsible for managing the site store, ordering parts and consumables, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating procurement for maintenance and operational requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our plant and equipment have the parts and materials required to operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the site store including receiving, issuing, and tracking parts and consumables

• Coordinate procurement of parts, equipment, and supplies for maintenance and operations

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels

• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and track deliveries

• Ensure critical spare parts are available to minimise equipment downtime

• Work closely with maintenance supervisors and site managers to plan parts requirements

• Maintain organised storage areas and stock control systems

• Process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation

• Support maintenance shutdowns and operational projects with parts coordination

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in stores, procurement, or parts coordination within mining, quarrying, transport, or heavy industry (preferred)

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Good computer skills and experience with inventory or purchasing systems

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and suppliers

• Forklift licence highly regarded

Additional Information

• Primary Location: Coolibah Quarry, Moranbah QLD

• Roster: Monday to Friday

• Camp accommodation available if required

• Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening required

• This is not a FIFO position
