Project Manager I 3 months initially
Rate: $800 per day plus superannuation (PAYG)
Your new role
Are you a delivery‑focused Project Manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys driving meaningful transformation? We're looking for an experienced PM/Scrum Master to join our Service Transformation Program and take end‑to‑end ownership of project delivery across scope, schedule and budget.
In this role, you'll work closely with a Program Manager and senior stakeholders, leading the planning, execution and governance of key initiatives that support organisation‑wide service improvements.
Responsibilities:
Developing detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocations
Managing RAID registers and proactively identifying, assessing and mitigating risks
Tracking progress and delivering clear, timely project status updates
Managing scope, change requests and project controls
Preparing high‑quality project documentation, closure reports and governance artefacts
Delivering program reporting aligned to VCAT governance standards
Driving collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to resolve interdependencies
Providing leadership, guidance and coaching to project team members
Building strong relationships that support successful delivery and positive team culture
What we are looking for:
CRM experience essential — MS Dynamics highly desirable
Experience working in large programs, project environments or PMOs
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
Scrum Master / SAFe Agile experience or certification (highly desirable)
Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, Confluence
Project management qualifications (PMP/PRINCE2) desirable
Someone who is structured, proactive, communicative and confident operating in complex environments
