We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our delivery team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently, connecting businesses with their customers and communities.
About the Role
This is a full-time permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate and overtime rates.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Loading freight safely and efficiently at operational centres and facilities.
* Completing daily vehicle safety checks to ensure a safe working environment.
* Driving modern trucks between operational centres and customers for deliveries and pick-ups.
* Returning to operational centres to unload pick-ups.
About You
You are a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable personality who loves autonomy and interacting with others as part of a team.
Requirements
* A relevant MR unrestricted vehicle license.
* Fitness to load and unload freight items of all shapes, sizes, and weights frequently in and out of a truck.
* Safety-focused mindset and understanding of chain of responsibility.
* Customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
* Ability to meet our safe working load limit of 130kgs or less.
* Pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening, national police checks, and driving history report.
