About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Relief Retail Security Officers to join our team at a major retail center in Mount Gravatt. This role is ideal for a security professional with strong retail security experience who is specifically seeking a relief officer position, offering variety across shifts while maintaining consistent hours.
We are looking for someone who can confidently step into different shifts and environments, hit the ground running, and deliver a high standard of site protection and customer service. Strong Control Room experience is highly desirable, as the role will involve monitoring CCTV, incident coordination, and supporting site operations from the control room when required.
This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and adaptable officer who thrives in dynamic retail environments and takes ownership of safety, risk management, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a strong and professional security presence in a busy retail environment
* Provide high-level customer service to retailers, staff, and members of the public
* Conduct foot patrols, access control, and site monitoring
* Operate and monitor Control Room systems including CCTV and alarm systems
* Respond effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
* Identify, assess, and manage risk appropriately
* Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs
* Liaise with centre management, tenants, and emergency services when required
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated experience in retail security environments
* Strong Control Room experience (highly regarded)
* Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control & Monitoring components
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Professional presentation and customer-focused approach
* Ability to work rotating rosters, including nights and weekends
* Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a relief capacity
