Overview of roleJoin Coliban Water as a Process Operations Engineer and help deliver safe, efficient wastewater treatment for our community.Key Responsibilities:Implement strategies to achieve sewage treatment and customer service objectives.Build and maintain operational knowledge of Coliban Water sites through regular on-site meetings and engagement with operators.Develop and implement management systems related to sewage treatment, identifying business improvements and risk management opportunities.Monitor compliance with regulatory and ESC standards, including performance analysis and reporting.Optimize, document, and maintain business decision methodologies; contribute to developing risk factors for tangible assessment of consequences, likelihood, and mitigation.Assist in developing Asset Management System (AMS) plans to maximize value for operational, maintenance, and renewal activities.Provide technical expertise in sewage treatment and water quality.Optimize wastewater processes for power and chemical savings efficiencies.About you:Strong knowledge and experience in Operations Engineering for water and/or wastewater treatment, networks, and management.A tertiary degree in engineering, science, or a related field.A valid driver’s license.Strong customer service, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, especially with contract partners.Skilled in planning and executing strategies to enhance performance, risk management, quality, and customer experience.Proactive, solution-oriented mindset focused on community outcomes and overcoming obstacles.Sound like you?
