Work Location
Opportunities are FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing or Kununurra to our Pilbara WA mine sites.
Rosters
Our rosters range from 7D7R, 86DR or 14D14R depending on site and department.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and breakdown repairs around mine and village infrastructure
* Use of SAP to create notifications, close out work orders and time confirmations
* Actively participate in daily, toolbox and safety meetings
* Comply with company procedures, policies, and lifesaving choices at all times
* Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to undertaking tasks
* Report all hazards and incidents within the workplace
* Coach, mentor and develop apprentices to become high quality tradespeople
Qualifications And Experience
* Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
* Current C Class Drivers Licence
* Current WA 'A' class electrical workers license
* Previous electrical experience maintaining non-processing infrastructure in a mining environment
* Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
* Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
