About the Role
This position will undertake responsibilities essential to the delivery and continuous improvement of the student Mentor Program and support Students as Partners (SaP) initiatives at the Business School.
The Mentor Program is structured with in-class peer-mentors involved throughout the semester, who support class activities facilitation, provide reflexive insights from personal experiences, and engage students to act as a bridge between university, subject and the cohort. Mentors support adapting to university, navigating major and career-related choices, and engaging with extra-curricular opportunities within and beyond the university.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the design, delivery and ongoing improvement of the mentoring experience across the Business School.
* Integrating mentors into subject activities, supporting subject coordinators, and guiding tutors on effective mentor engagement.
* Managing end-to-end mentor recruitment, training, communication, recognition, and retention, including maintaining mentor databases and online presence.
* Delivering key initiatives such as weekly mentor briefings, peer-learning workshops, and a structured 10-week individual mentoring program each semester.
* Driving the expansion of mentoring into additional subjects and collaborating with academic leaders on program redesign and enhancement.
* Supporting the development and implementation of a students-as-Partners (SaP) framework through research, consultation, and process design.

Base Salary Range
Base Salary Range: $97,332 - $105,385 pa (HEW 6)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is part time (FTE 0.8, 28 hours a week) and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 12 months .
