Our Wakerley Distribution Centre are looking for a reliable, hands on Warehouse Labourer to work as a Glass Recovery Specialist within our DC
Key Points
* Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm
* Pay: $30.00ph + Super
Key duties include:
* Operate specialised equipment and tools to remove light to heavy scratches from glass products.
* Ensure a flawless finish by polishing and restoring the glass to like-new condition.
* Loading and unloading windscreens where required
* Maintain safe work practices in the warehouse
* Minimise broken glass through good handling process and stock management
* Maintain clean and safe work environment inside and outside warehouse

What we are looking for:
* Training will be provided but proven experience as a glass scratch remover or in a similar skilled trades role is a benefit.
* Strong technical skills in the use of specialised glass scratch removal equipment and tools, (polishing and grinding machine alike).
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to achieve a flawless finish.
* Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* High level communication skills (written and verbal)
* Must be fit and healthy and able to lift / pick glass products
Must have Full Australian Work-rights and be able to undertake a full Pre-Employment Medical.
