About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Factory Labourer to join our team at Global Shade and Sails' in South Murwillumbah, NSW. This full-time role will see you working as part of a dynamic production team, manufacturing high-quality shade and sail products. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and effective operations within our manufacturing facility.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting with the production, assembly and packaging of shade and sail products
2. Operating machinery and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
3. Maintaining a clean, organised and hazard-free work environment
4. Adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols
5. Collaborating with team members to identify and implement process improvements
6. Providing support to the wider production team as required
What we're looking for
1. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
2. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment
3. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role, preferably within the trades and services industry
4. Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
5. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
6. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
