About The Role
This role is a 6‐month maternity leave contract.
What You'll Do
* Support key business and people initiatives whilst providing front line support to the operational stakeholders and being a key contact for the provision of Human Resources Advice.
* Provide a variety of reports and statistical information for the management team, corporate and regional head offices as required.
* Administration of HR databases and organization web based programs.
* System Data – entering, updating and rectifying systems with updated employee information.
* Reports (various weekly reports and end of month reports) e.g. Headcount, Worked hours, Leave Balances, Absenteeism.
* Setting up new workers, change of T&C and termination processing.
* Purchase order and vendor management.
* Training and development – assisting with coordinating WHS training.
* Organise site events, catering and maintain some contractors onsite.
* Performance management and disciplinary processes.
* Not being desk bound, a key to the success of your role is being out on the 'shop floor' and working with our production supervisors, team leaders and other key operational staff.
Who You Are
* Degree Qualification in Human Resources.
* 3‐5 years' experience in fast paced generalist HR role/s.
* Experience with people systems, data management and reporting.
* Understanding of, or worked with Blue collar workforce or Manufacturing environment highly regarded.
* Experience using Workday and SAP preferred.
* Experience in interpreting legislation, policies, procedures and enterprise agreements.
* Experience in disciplinary processes, performance management and handling confidential employee matters.
* You must have full unrestricted working rights in Australia.
