Kids World Adventure Playland & Cafe is situated in Stockland Green Hills. Kids World has very large indoor play areas for children aged 0-11 featuring a fully air conditioned centre with 3 storied climbing structures and a designated under 5's area for little ones. As well as offering entry for general play, Kids World also hosts children's birthday parties and private hire functions. We operate a full cafe offering tasty gourmet food, coffee and a selection of drinks.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience in a busy hospitality/cafe environment.
- Direct and manage staff but also an ability to take direction from managers.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Availability for weekend, school holiday and public holidays if required
- Maintain High levels of cleanliness
Tasks & responsibilities
- Follow opening & closing routines for the venue on a daily basis and take direction from the Venue Manager.
- Work in all areas of the business from Point of Sale for customer entry and interaction, taking orders for the cafe, making food orders and preparing coffee. Assist with booking parties and private functions using our booking system and finalising payments for functions.
- Directing and training staff members to ensure smooth operations of the venue ensuring it remains safe and clean for customers and that staff follow all policies and procedures in the workplace
- Ability to multi task
- ability to work with budgets and control budget and wage %
- Motivating staff to be productive on shift
- Assist with daily cash up's and reconciling bankings.
- Dealing with customer enquiries and resolving any requests.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- East Maitland, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
