About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Ultrasound Clinical Assistant to support our sonography team in delivering high‐quality diagnostic imaging services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‐paced healthcare environment and takes pride in providing exceptional patient care.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the ultrasound service by preparing rooms and equipment, assisting and coordinating clinical staff, and supporting patients throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome and assist patients attending ultrasound appointments
* Provide clear instructions to patients before and after examinations
* Prepare ultrasound rooms and equipment to support efficient workflow
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinical environment
* Assist sonographers and Radiologists during procedures as required
* Support patient flow to ensure appointment schedules run smoothly
* Assist with administrative tasks and documentation
* Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control and safety standards
* Experience working in a healthcare, medical, or customer service environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Professional, compassionate, and patient‐focused approach
* Reliable, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities
* Basic computer skills
* Experience in ultrasound, radiology, or diagnostic imaging
* Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance, Medical Administration, or similar
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Experience working in a fast‐paced clinical environment
