The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Amplar Local Team working in Newcastle, in a permanent part-time capacity (2 or 3 days a week). With a focus on promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in the everyday, you will work with a range of clients, both in residential aged care and community settings, supporting and guiding them to achieve their goals and ultimately to help them live their best lives.
We provide services across the following packages and programs:
- Residential aged care facilities: develop, implement, and manage group and 1:1 exercise programs
- Private services: supporting individuals with self-identified needs
- Rehab in the home program: focusing on post-orthopaedic surgery
- Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalization, including general surgeries
- Home Care Package clients: supporting those in our community who wish to remain independent at home
About you
You are a fully AHPRA registered Physiotherapist, with a minimum 2 years’ experience, ideally with experience in a community setting and are comfortable working independently. As a mobile Community Physio (with your own vehicle, KM reimbursement provided), ideally you live in Newcastle and are comfortable travelling to our client’s homes. You have a patient-centred approach and are passionate about better health.
