A leading Australian asset management organisation supporting critical infrastructure and defence is seeking an experienced
Technical SME / Product Owner
with strong experience in
ServiceNow (SNOW) / Field Services Management (FSM)
to join their technology team on a 12-month contract. With a workforce of approximately 3,000-5,000 employees, this organisation plays a vital role in maintaining and optimising systems that underpin nationally significant assets. This role offers the opportunity to work in a stable, security-focused environment while supporting business-critical enterprise platforms.
The Role
In this role, you will provide technical and functional subject matter expertise in Service Now FSM while taking ownership of the product, managing the product vision, prioritizing features in the backlog to maximize value, and bridging business goals with the development team to ensure the right product is built and maximum business and customer value is delivered.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Strong experience, technical and functional subject matter expertise in Field Services Management (FSM), with ServiceNow
* Strong demonstrated experience and as Product Owner or Product Manager, Architect, Technical Lead, or Techno/Functional Consultant in ServiceNow FSM
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and the ability to coordinate between technical/development teams, business users, and management
* Experience working in asset-intensive, infrastructure, utilities, or defence-related environments
* Strong understanding of Field Services processes, field services operations, and requirements needed for an FSM system to support this
* Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this role due to the client being a government and defence service provider
