Job Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to:
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to maintain existing spares business and expand on share of wallet wherever possible.
* Attend customer shutdowns to take wear measurements and provide wear reports.
* Develop and maintain relationships with the PMGs to provide product support.
* Understand the local, national and international environment so as to better understand our clients' drivers and assist in forecasting.
* Understand our competitors' drivers and resources.
* Look for opportunities for our BDM organisation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
1. Retention of Existing Business
2. Sales Growth via New Products on Existing Customer Sites
3. Achievement of Monthly Order Intake Budget
4. Responsible to Keep Debtor Collections Under Control in Conjunction with Admin.
5. Reporting – Timely Submission of Sales Report as requested
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Occupational Health and Safety
1. Maintain a safe working environment.
2. Report any health and safety issues to your manager immediately.
3. Notify the appropriate team member of any equipment failure or damage or potential safety hazards.
4. Lead by example in health and safety awareness by correctly wearing all personal protective equipment where required. This may include safety shoes at all times, and hi-vis vests in certain areas of the workplace or certain work locations.
5. Develop and implement safety initiatives within your team and encourage active participation in safety initiatives.
6. Observe and follow all instructions related to safety when at work or at client sites.
7. Adhere to client safety requirements as required.
Sales
1. Effectively manage the existing customers in the specified region.
2. Develop contacts and networks to source new project leads for BDMs
3. Have a firm understanding of the customers and projects in your territory.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Ensure all customers are seen on a regular call plan and are aware of all of Losugen's products and services.
2. Regularly prospect for new product opportunities.
3. Propose concepts and solutions to customers within your territory.
4. Generate Request for Quotation's (RFQ'S).
5. Ensure customer budget quotations, standard quotations and tenders are provided in a timely manner.
6. Follow up quotations.
7. Liaise with Tega/ Losugen workshop and other fabrication companies on job status.
8. Provide continuous improvement solutions and initiate drawing change requests
9. Liaise with clients about lead times and shutdowns.
10. Accurately budget order intake for your territory.
11. Submit Losugen sales reports when required.
12. Understand the client's wants and needs and identify potential opportunities.
13. Assist clients during early stages by providing information to assist them in understanding Losugen's capabilities and limitations, broad budget prices, information on services in the area and contacts for other products and services Tega/ Losugen can provide.
14. Conduct market analysis, forecasts, market intelligence reporting and sales plan strategies,
15. Develop business specific growth strategies taking account of the changing dynamics of the business.

Qualifications
* Minimum secondary education
* Business or Engineering qualification desirable
