Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Nurse

In this role, you'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team, including MCH nurses, immunisation nurses, child and family resource officers, lactation consultants, social workers, and a family violence officer. You'll receive excellent guidance from a dedicated leadership team, ensuring you have the support you need to succeed.
You'll bring your clinical expertise to a community-focused setting, with ongoing support from your Team Leader to escalate issues and access professional development opportunities.

This opportunity is ideal for nurses who are confident in their practice, able to work independently, and have a strong background in delivering comprehensive care to children and families.
What your day will look like
Delivering a high-quality Maternal and Child Health nursing service, providing vital support to families
Committing to continuous learning and collaborating effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Contributing to referrals and completing necessary reporting in line with legislative requirements
Engaging with families using a family-centred partnership approach
What you will bring
Current registration with AHPRA: Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Registered Midwife
Accredited postgraduate Diploma/Degree (or equivalent) in Child and Family Health Nursing
Previous practical experience in Maternal and Child Health nursing
Demonstrated experience working with CALD communities or a genuine curiosity and willingness to learn
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Confidence and competency in using computer systems including M&CH; programs
Current valid Victorian driver's licence and access to registered and insured vehicle
Employee Working with Children check
