We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Day Oncology team. This temporary part time position is available September 2023 until March 2024 working 3 days per fortnight.
The Project Officer will work with the Wimmera Cancer Centre team to develop and implement a Sustainable Survivorship Model of Care in the Wimmera Cancer Centre. The role entails providing project management, building key internal and external relationships and working collaboratively with key stakeholders, reporting and analytical support, and communicating, consulting and representing the organisation on key programs and projects. The Project Officer will ensure that the initiatives are implemented and operate in an efficient and sustainable manner and are compliant with all relevant guidelines and quality standards. Stakeholder and consumer engagement will be established and maintained, particularly with Cancer Consumers in the Wimmera.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
1. Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
2. Experience in leadership within a team and building a highly engaged culture
3. Proficient knowledge of clinical processes and healthcare systems
4. Proficient in the use of information technology (Microsoft Office, Teams & SharePoint) and ability to learn/use online data reporting tool(s)
5. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail
7. Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and part of a team
8. Demonstrated understanding of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism.
Desirable:
9. Previous experience in project management
