Our client is seeking an employment lawyer to support a payroll compliance remediation project, ensuring legally robust remediation, governance and stakeholder confidence across the organisation.
The lawyer will provide dedicated legal support to the project from inception to close-out, including risk assessment, advice on remediation methodology, review of communications and documentation, stakeholder guidance, issues escalation, and contribution to governance artefacts and reporting.
Preferred Skillset:
* Experienced employment/workplace relations lawyer with sufficient seniority to operate autonomously in a complex environment
* Experience advising on award and enterprise agreement interpretation, underpayment remediation, employee entitlements, and change management
* Prior exposure to the education sector is helpful but not required; sound judgement, stakeholder management and clear advice are essential
* Ability to collaborate closely with colleagues across Legal, HR and Payroll
* Minimum of 7 years' experience
* Current practising certificate
* Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia
