English Department Leader
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our English department and drive innovative approaches to the curriculum.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the implementation of MYP Language and Literature, ensuring seamless alignment with Years 11 and 12, while building a cohesive 7–12 curriculum that reflects best practices in literacy development and a curious mindset.
The ideal candidate will drive student performance in key areas, ensuring excellence in every English classroom.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive English curriculum programme meeting the needs of all students from Year 7 to Year 12
* Implement strategic initiatives, project delivery, and change management
* Exhibit a high degree of technical knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional learning
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing a high-performing department providing exceptional education to students from Year 7 to Year 12
* Supporting social and emotional well-being through the study of English
