Job Title: Chef
Salary: $76,000 – $80,000 plus superannuation

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily kitchen operations, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, and contributing to menu development.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in line with the restaurant's standards
* Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
* Monitoring food quality, portion control, and presentation
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
* Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising wastage
* Supervising and training kitchen staff as required
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum 1 Year of relevant work experience as a Chef
* Relevant qualification (Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Knowledge of Australian food safety standards
