We are looking for a National Advertising Manager to join the team in our Sydney office. The National Advertising Manager will involve proactively contacting potential clients, understanding their needs, and selling relevant opportunities to the Stockhead audience. Relationships with media agency contacts are essential.
The role reports to the Head of Sales, Business & Entertainment at Medium Rare Content Agency.
**Key responsibilities of the role are**:
- Initiating sales with potential advertisers from across Australia
- Creating a pipeline of active clients to secure forward revenue
- Meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Developing creative, ‘outside the square’ solutions for advertisers
- Utilising all platforms in the Stockhead media ecosystem to maximise revenue from advertisers
**Role Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years media sales experience, digital experience a must
- Understanding of all digital sales channels
- Experience in selling sponsored content
- Strategic relationships with media agencies
- Knowledge of the finance/stock market is preferred, but not essential
- Excellent stakeholder management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
